Hello! Let me introduce myself. I am Denise D. Murray and I will be taking care of you. I am an Air Force Veteran, a wife, a mother, a youth mentor, a servant, and an experienced Realtor. I take pride in the work that I do. I make it my absolute mission to be there from start to finish, for every client that I serve. I am most certainly a hands-on Realtor. With me, you don’t have to worry about what happens next. I’ll provide you with timely updates and keep you posted on what’s to come. I do tend to leave out those details that will cause you unnecessary stress (that’s for me to handle). I provide platinum service. Again, I am Denise D Murray, and I would like to be your Realtor.

Why Real Estate?

Growing up, the idea of home ownership for my family was almost non-existent. I grew up in a small town where I worked on a farm, mostly tobacco fields, in order to help my mom with bills and to buy items needed for high school. The thought of owning a home seemed like such a mystical idea for my family. Finding a home to rent was my mom’s main focus. That was our norm.

I watched my mom struggle to pay rent for homes that were not always in the best condition. Having a landlord to repair or replace items that were important to us, was not always a priority for them. It was scary wondering if or when the rent would increase. And there were times that we had to move unexpectedly because the landlord wanted to sell the home, or reclaim it. There were so many uncertainties.

When I left my small town to join the military, my eyes were opened to a whole new world. In this world, almost everyone that I knew either owned a home, had owned a home or didn’t own only by choice. These were people who looked like me and my mom - a few with similar backgrounds. I was amazed and proud. This discovery had ignited a fire in me. I now knew that not only was home ownership a possibility for me, but I felt that it was a possibility for anyone... and I wanted to make it known.

It wasn’t long after, that I seriously began to ponder my next move. I felt so strongly about the possibility of home ownership that I decided that after completing my military obligation, I would begin a career in Real Estate. I wanted to educate and help make it possible for anyone who had a desire to become a homeowner.

In 2003, after separating from the military, I became a licensed Realtor. While I absolutely enjoy working with both buyers and sellers, what gives me absolute joy is sitting at the closing table with a first-time home buyer.
